43 000 premises in the UK do not have reliable 4G coverage – is yours one of them?
The 2020 update of Ofcom’s Connected Nations annual report, which analyses the availability of broadband and mobile services across the UK and each of its nations, concludes that mobile coverage is generally stable, with the four mobile network operators (MNOs) – EE, O2, Three and Vodafone – each estimating that they provide outdoor coverage to 98%-99% of premises. However, “a small, but significant number of properties are still struggling to get connected.” Ofcom estimates that 43,000 premises “cannot access either a decent fixed broadband service, or good 4G coverage, indoors”.
If 4G coverage inside is an issue at your site, a brief no obligation survey will determine whether this is due to poor signal strength from the four MNOs or other factors, e.g., how the building is constructed, and will enable us to provide a proposal to resolve the problem.
